Starkissed is beautifully written with great characters. Ms. Curington has done a wonderful job, creating a believable relationship between two opposites. With surprising twists and detailed descriptions of planets and vessels, this is not a novel to be missed.

5 Thumbs Up
This is one of the best futuristics I've ever read. I was caught up in Leith and J'Qhir's story from the very first page and this book held my interest until the very last word. If this is any indication of what I have to look forward to from this author, I will definitely be anxious to read more of Lanette Curington's books.

"Starkissed" by Lanette Curington is an exceptional read. This is one Futuristic Romance you won't want to miss. Leith and J'Qhir find themselves desperately in love and then torn apart. However, their love continues through numerous tragedies and then finally through a gift of fate find themselves once again in each other's arms. Don't miss out on this exquisite storytelling.

**** ExcellentAuthor Lanette Curington has done a beautiful job with STARKISSED. She has captured danger and excitement, thrills and chills, love and hurt, and forbidden romance. All of this has been blended into a wonderful book that flows quickly and wraps you up completely into the story that you feel you are there. You lose complete track of time as you race along with the characters to see what is going to happen next. This is a book that you will want to add to your list of "Must Reads".

Lanette Curington presents us with wonderfully descriptive visual imagery and invites us on a whirlwind adventure, which proves love can conquer all, no matter what homeworld you're from. I was immediately drawn into the character's lives, followed them through their endless struggle and gave a damn if they lived or died. I liked the fact that Lanette inserted bits and pieces of J'Qhir's life and culture so you could understand where he was coming from.

The history of this universe works well to propel the story as well as maintain its place in the science fiction genre. The differences in the cultures of Leith and J'Qhir make the personal relationship they develop uncommon and demonstrative of how two people are able to overcome obstacles in their lives...."Starkissed" would be an enjoyable read even for those who are not typically inclined to read science fiction. Lanette Curington truly leaves her audience starkissed.
